Recommended hardware included: we recommend reliable, compatible devices based on your home, budget, and preferred ecosystem. Customer-provided devices may be used when reviewed and approved before installation.

Final pricing is determined after a blueprint and project review and depends on final device count, selected hardware, finish selections, network needs, added features and upgrades, and overall project scope.

New construction, in order

From blueprint to handoff.

  1. Blueprint and project review

    We review floor plans and the electrical plan, set device priorities, pick the smart-home platform, and plan switches, dimmers, receptacles, cameras, locks, thermostats, sensors, garage control, and voice-control areas — plus Cat6 runs, PoE camera locations, access points, and where the network equipment lives.

  2. Rough-in and prewire

    Wiring lands where the plan says, while walls are open. No internet service needed yet — planning, rough-in, and most physical installation happen before your ISP shows up.

  3. Install and configure

    Devices go in, get paired, and get named the way people actually talk: Kitchen Lights, Front Door Lock, Garage Camera. Never Switch 1.

  4. App access verification and voice control setup

    On your final network, we confirm cameras, lighting, thermostats, locks, notifications, and scenes all work in the app — then connect voice control for the areas your package covers and test real commands.

  5. Handoff and training

    The system lives on your accounts, your email, your password — we may use a setup device during installation, but you own and control the system, and our access ends unless you ask us to keep temporary support access.

  6. 30 days of post-install support

    Questions, tweaks, and adjustments after move-in are covered. Ongoing support beyond 30 days is available as an add-on.

Smart-home app and control setup

We configure the primary system you'll use to control supported devices — Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, Google Home, SmartThings, Home Assistant, or manufacturer apps where needed. Devices get connected, assigned to rooms, and named the way people talk: Kitchen Lights, Front Door Lock, Garage Camera.

Voice control, tested for real

With compatible hardware — Echo, HomePod, Nest speakers — we connect your devices to the voice platform that fits your household, configure natural commands, and test them out loud: "Turn on the kitchen lights." "Lock the front door." "Run Goodnight." Voice control is optional.

You own the accounts

We may use a setup device during installation, but the smart-home system is created under your account — your email, your verification codes, your password. We never store customer passwords, and our access ends at handoff unless you ask us to keep temporary support access.

Internet and network

One thing we need from you: internet service.

Active internet service through your ISP must be in place before final smart-home configuration. Everything up to that point happens without it.

Best practice: have the final router or mesh system installed, the final Wi-Fi name and password chosen, and your accounts ready before configuration — devices set up on a temporary network may need to be reset when it changes.
